ecclesiastical property services

Ecclesiastical Property Solutions will cease trading on July 31st 2009 and subsequent to that date the company will be wound up.

This is not due to any disaster or insolvency but because both the founding directors Emma Osmundsen and Andrew Mottram have been appointed to full-time salaried posts. Emma will be working in Devon and Andrew will be working in Worcestershire.

Before 2004 Emma Osmundsen and Andrew Mottram had been working separately providing property and building advice for Churches. They set up EPS in 2004 because of the acute need among local Church congregations for help and support with their buildings and property. Since then EPS has helped over 500 Church communities and has been involved at national level in consultations about safeguarding the future of these importance features of the nation’s heritage.

You may be aware that English Heritage announced just before Christmas 2008, that they would be providing 50% of the funding to create 30 full time church building support officers in England. EPS is extremely pleased that the funds have been released to make this important objective of English Heritage’s ’Inspired!’ campaign a reality.

The fact, that 5 years since setting up EPS the English Heritage funded posts are a now in place, is a real success. So it is time to change and move on.
